Theme Night: St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

We love a theme, don't you? Here's how to celebrate your holiday like a couple of old boring non-drinking cinephiles. It's a work night, after all!

Step One: Wear green! Obviously. 

Step Two: Make a delicious (faux) Irish dinner! Being vegetarian, we made vegan shepherd's pie (recipe HERE)

Step Three: Green dessert? Mint ice cream totally counts. 

Step Four: Watch The Quiet Man (1952), currently streaming on Netflix and set in beautiful Ireland.

Step Five: Watch John Wayne DRAG and PUSH Maureen O'Hara all over the movie while she falls in love with him nonetheless.

Step Six: Patriarchy is icky. Watch Darby O'Gill and the Little People (1959) to cleanse your palate. 

Step Seven: Become weirded out by the absolute strangeness that is this movie, and enjoy your banshee nightmares.
