Best Dressed Animated Disney Characters

This post was inspired by a list I saw on another website. Their 10 Best Dressed Disney Characters list left a lot to be desired, in my opinion, so I decided to make my own! So here they are, in no particular order.

Basil of Baker Street, The Great Mouse Detective

Easily the best dressed male character on this list, he showed us that he knows how to lounge, solve cases, AND hit up bars, all in style!

Maleficent, Sleeping Beauty

A villain to end all villains! Dragon horns? Flame-like cape? THAT MAKEUP?? What a fierce bitch!

Jose Carioca, Saludos Amigos and The Three Caballeros

Looks like he came straight out of Casablanca, didn't he? You just can't put cigar-smoking dinner-jacket-wearing parrots out there anymore, but he sure is dapper!

The Girl, The Jungle Book

Okay hear me out...I know this isn't a fancy look, but I love the easiness of her little dress, and the fact that her hair-bows and bindi match the colors in her dress. And her earrings! And her grown-woman voice! I love her.

Miss Bianca, The Rescuers and The Rescuers Down Under

Disney sure knew how to dress their mice, didn't they? I'm sure there were lots of little boys who fell in love with Miss Bianca (I know of at least one!) but I personally fell in love with her cute coats and hats!

Cruella de Vil, One Hundred and One Dalmatians

No. Explanation. Necessary.

Emperor Kuzco, The Emperor's New Groove

Sure he's a brat, but I really admire a man who's not afraid of color! And he's got that kicky little cape-train thing too!

Princess Jasmine, Aladdin

I always appreciate variety, and I love her giant pants and tiny shoes. Also it is impossible to get hair to do that. Believe me, I tried.

Prince Phillip, Sleeping Beauty

It's no secret that I have a cartoon crush on Prince Phillip. He probably has the most personality of all the old-school Disney princes, and I have to say his clothes are the most interesting as well. Snow White and Cinderella's princes can go take a hike!

Centaurettes, Fantasia

These crazy gals get an "A" for creativity! Put a bird on it!

Who's your favorite? Any I missed?

  1. I am so happy you have the Centaurettes on this list, I could cry! They were my idols as a little nature loving hippie tomboy. Berries as lipstick forever!
